The eighteenth Shanghai Melbourne Cup was enjoyed by 323 guests on Tuesday, 1st of November at the Grand Kempinski Hotel. It was a superb day – and together we raised significant funds for the ASA's Charity Partners.

The Melbourne Cup is Australia's premier horse race and the richest handicap race in the world. Widely known as "the race that stops a nation", the race is held on the first Tuesday of November every year at Flemington, Victoria. The ASA has hosted the Shanghai Melbourne Cup event since 1998 and it has become the day we "stop Shanghai!"
